맥북 프로 (MacBook Pro) 2011 Early 에서 Apple Hardware Test 수행 방법

부팅시에 option+D 키를 누른 상태에서 부팅하여, 인터넷을 통한 AHT(Apple Hardware Test)를 수행하여야 한다.

아래는 애플 공식홈페이지의 가이드.

Apple Hardware Test를 사용하는 방법

키보드, 마우스, 디스플레이, 이더넷 연결(해당하는 경우) 및 AC 전원 연결을 제외한 모든 외장 기기를 분리합니다. 다른 기기를 모두 분리하지 않은 경우 Apple Hardware Test에서 오류 메시지가 표시될 수 있습니다.
Mac이 환기가 잘 되는 단단하고 평평하며 안정적인 작업 표면에 놓여 있는지 확인합니다.
Mac의 전원을 끕니다.
Mac을 켠 다음 즉시 키보드에서 D 키를 길게 누릅니다. 다음과 같은 Apple Hardware Test 아이콘이 나타날 때까지 D 키를 길게 누릅니다.
언어를 선택하고 오른쪽 화살표를 클릭합니다. 마우스를 사용하고 있지 않은 경우에는 위쪽 및 아래쪽 화살표로 언어를 선택한 다음 return 키를 누르면 됩니다.
테스트를 시작하려면 'Test'(테스트) 버튼을 클릭하거나 T 키 또는 return 키를 누릅니다. 테스트를 시작하기 전에 'Perform extended testing'(확장 테스트 수행)을 선택할 수도 있습니다. 이렇게 하면 더 철저한 테스트가 수행되어 시간이 더 걸립니다.
테스트가 완료되면 윈도우의 오른쪽 하단 섹션에서 테스트 결과를 검토할 수 있습니다.
Apple Hardware Test를 종료하려면 해당 윈도우의 하단에서 'Restart'(재시동) 또는 'Shut Down'(시스템 종료)을 클릭합니다.

OS X Lion 10.7 및 이후 버전으로 출고된 일부 Mac 컴퓨터의 경우 시동 디스크에 AHT가 포함되어 있지 않거나 시동 시 option-D 키를 길게 누르면 인터넷을 통해 AHT로 시동됩니다. 이 경우 이더넷 또는 Wi-Fi를 통해 인터넷에 연결되어 있어야 합니다.
OS X Lion 10.7 및 이전 버전을 사용하고 시동 시 AHT를 사용할 수 없는 경우 'Applications Install Disc 2'라는 이름의 OS X 설치 디스크가 있는지 확인합니다. 위 단계를 수행하기 전에 먼저 내장 광학 드라이브 또는 외장 Apple SuperDrive에 디스크를 삽입합니다. MacBook Air (Late 2010)을 사용하는 경우에는 MacBook Air 소프트웨어 재설치 USB 드라이브를 USB 포트에 꽂습니다.

Windows 7 OEM ISO이미지를 구할 수 없을때

RTM버전의 ISO이미지를 구한 후 ultraiso등의 iso편집 프로그램을 활용하여

\cources\ei.cfg 파일을 메모장으로 연 후 [Channel] 바로 밑에 Retail이라 되어 있는 부분을 OEM으로 변경하고 저장하여 다시 ISO이미지를 만든다.

Windows product keys

The standard Windows 7 retail install disk will not work with an OEM product key. It will install, but when you attempt to activate it then it will fail.

This is because of a file in the install disk (called ei.cfg) which determines whether or not the disk is retail or OEM. You can "convert" a retail install disk to an OEM install disk (and vice versa) by modifying this file.

You can do this in the following way:

Copy the contents of your Windows install disk to your computer
Locate this file, it's in sources\ei.cfg
Open it up in a text editor and look for the word Retail. It'll be directly underneath the word [Channel]
Change Retail to OEM
Save the file and burn a new DVD

Missing drivers

Don't wait for Windows to re-install before you find out that you have missing drivers (especially if it's the wireless or networking one!).

Before you re-install use Double Driver to backup all his existing drivers onto a USB stick. Once you've re-installed Windows, run Windows Update to download as many drivers as you can.

If there are any items missing (denoted by an exclamation mark in Device Manager), then right click on each one, chose to install the driver and point it at the USB stick. Far quicker than manually hunting for and downloading each of them.

Moodle에서 성/이름 구분하지 않고 이름만 입력하여 사용하기

아무래도 영미권 LMS솔루션이다보니, 국내 정서와는 맞지 않는 문제가 발생한다.

아래의 절차로 core수정 및 환경설정 수정을 하면 성/이름 구분 없이 이름 필드에만 모든 이름을 관리할 수 있다.

[1] core수정

1. In user/editlib.php, comment this line $mform->addRule ($fullname, $strrequired, 'required', null, 'client');

- 해석: Moodle이 설치된 경로의 /user/editlib.php 에서 $mform->addRule ($fullname, $strrequired, 'required', null, 'client'); 로 되어 있는 부분을 주석 처리한다. //$mform->addRule ($fullname, $strrequired, 'required', null, 'client'); 이런식으로 처리하면 된다. (버전에 따라 $strrequired가 상이할 수 있으나 유사한 부분을 주석처리하면됨)

2. In lib/moodlelib.php, remove this "or empty ($user->lastname)" from function user_not_fully_set_up($user);

- 해석: Moodle이 설치된 경로의 /lib/moodlelib.php 에서 user_not_fully_set_up($user); 함수를 찾은 후 or empty ($user->lastname) 항목을 제거한다.

[2] 표시이름 수정

/admin/settings.php?section=userpolicies

로 들어가서 사이트 정책 설정 항목 중

전체 이름 형식

fullnamedisplay = language

를

fullnamedisplay = lastnamefirstname

로 변경한다.

기본: language

이것은 전체 이름을 표시하는 방법을 정의하는 것이다. 대부분의 한 언어만 쓰는 사이트에서는 기본값인 "성+이름"으로도 충분하지만, 다양한 언어팩을 쓰는 경우 특히 성이나 이름이 매우 긴 경우에는 이름을 보이지 않게 하거나 성을 보이지 않게 설정할 수도 있다.

대체할 이름 형식

alternativefullnameformat = language

를

alternativefullnameformat = lastnamefirstname

로 변경한다.

기본: language

This defines how names are shown to users with the viewfullnames capability (by default users with the role of manager, teacher or non-editing teacher). Placeholders that can be used are as for the "Full name format" setting.

위의 두 단계를 수행하면 이름만 입력되어도 사용가능하므로, 전체이름검색 (홍길동) 으로도 Moodle시스템 전반적으로 이름검색이 가능해지고 표시도 이름으로만 된다.
